Police Officer - Salisbury

The City of Salisbury is accepting applications for a full time Police Officer. Must be POST Certified within the State of Missouri, be 21 years old, and have a valid MO driver’s license. Starting pay range is $12.00-$13.50 per hour with ample opportunities for overtime, includes health insurance 100% paid by employer, LAGERS retirement benefit, and paid holiday, vacation, and sick leave. Officers are also provided with full uniforms, including duty weapon, body armor and body camera. Salisbury is a rural community of 1,618 people and is located in north central Missouri along US 24. The City of Salisbury is home to a beautiful park system with a lake, including trails, campground, and a golf course. The police department employs 4 full time officers and one full time police clerk, providing 24-hour coverage to the community. Police Officers - Lincoln University

The Lincoln University Police Department has 2 vacancies for Campus Police Officer. Both positions are full time with benefits. Lincoln University Police Department Officers work 10 hour rotating shifts. Officers have every other weekend off (Unless there is a special event that requires extra officers as deemed by the Chief of Police). Responsibilities: Perform routine patrol, security checks of campus grounds and buildings; enforce campus regulations, state crime statues on University property; provide security for extra –curricular activities held on campus; investigate reported criminal activities ; complete investigative reports and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School graduate, must have completed the Missouri basic law enforcement academy, pass CVSA and written test (administered via computer). Benefits: Health Insurance You and your family are eligible for health insurance benefits through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Lincoln University provides a set amount of monthly premium contributions for each employee (currently @ 394.72) as well as allowing employee dependent coverage at the employee’s expense. Lincoln University currently offers 2 plan choices through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Retirement Lincoln University provides vested employee retirement plans through the Missouri State Employees Retirement System (MOSERS) and also through the College and University Retirement Plan (CURP). Life Insurance and Long Term Disability –Two Type Plans Basic life insurance coverage paid by the employers for employees eligible for the MOSERS retirement system at an annual salary amount or a minimum of $15,000 whichever is more. Additionally, employee, spouse and children optional life is available at the expense of the employee through payroll deduction. Dental and Vision Insurance is offered through Aetna (Coventry) Dental. The employee has the option to enroll in dental and vision insurance along with eligible dependents at the employee’s expense. Leave Time is earned to eligible employees depending upon length of employment with Lincoln University. Annual and Sick Leave is earned on the 15th of each month and will be automatically posted to the employee’s leave account balance. Employees with less than ten years of total University service earn 10 hours of annual leave each pay period with a maximum annual leave balance of 240 hours. Employees who have completed ten years of total University service earn 12 hours of annual leave each pay period with a maximum annual leave balance of 288 hours. Personal Leave is granted for new hires at a prorated rate of 4.67 hours from the time of hire through the end of the fiscal year. Employees are granted 56 hours of personal leave on the 1st day of each fiscal year on July 1 which is the maximum amount allowed for each employee. Personal leave does not accumulate. Other Types of Leave include: Special Leaves of Absence, Military Leave, Time Off Work to Vote and Judicial Obligations. Holiday Schedule – There are 13 designate non-academic paid holidays observed by the University. Educational Assistance Tuition Waiver is granted to benefit eligible employees. Benefit eligible employees are full-time employees with one or more years of service. In-state tuition for full-time employees shall be waived for the first six hours each semester for undergraduate enrollment. Fifty percent of in-state tuition for dependent children and/or spouse of an eligible employee shall be waived for the first twelve hours each semester for undergraduate enrollment. Gary L. Police Records Clerk - Kirkwood

Police Records Clerk, Full-Time Responsibilities: Responsible for all administrative duties associated with the Police Department Record Room function. Duties may include but are not limited to handling public record requests from citizens, performing various tasks within REJIS, MULES and NCIC criminal justice systems, retrieving records from various reporting systems, data entry, filing, interacting with citizens on the phone and in person, reconciling bonds received with the Finance Department, preparing monthly Uniformed Crime Reports and other reports as necessary, and assisting the Police-Prosecutor Clerk as needed. Requirements: Ability to multi-task; is flexible and customer service oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills. Computer literacy required, and must be able to obtain certification during employment in the REJIS, MULES and NCIC systems. Prior general office experience required. Chief of Police - Weatherby Lake

The City of Weatherby Lake, Missouri is seeking a Chief of Police. The minimum qualifications are a Bachelor Degree or an equivalent combination of education and supervisory experience, ten years as a police officer with five years of progressive police supervisory experience. The successful candidate must possess a Missouri P.O.S.T. Class A or class B certification; a valid State of Missouri Driver's License and a clear criminal record. Police department positions require successful outcome of an in-depth background check. The position requires a minimum of a five (5) day work week and must be available evenings, weekends and holidays or when necessary to conduct emergency departmental business.
