MPCA Membership Types
Membership in the organization is on an individual basis and does not transfer from one person to another when a current member leaves or changes his or her position. An individual applies for membership by completing an application form and mailing it, along with payment of the first year's dues for the appropriate membership classification, to the MPCA office.
The Membership Committee then reviews the application and makes a recommendation regarding the prospective member to the Board of Directors. After a favorable vote by the Board, a membership card, certificate, and other information will be issued to the new member.
Members continue in their assigned membership classification from one year to the next. Individuals desiring to be moved from one category to another due to a change in employment or retirement from active service must request reclassification by notifying either the Chair of the Membership Committee or by submitting a request for change to the MPCA office.
